La plantà, the fallas installation.

It is the act of construction of the falles monuments that are exhibited in the city during the festival. For a few days the members of the falles commissions meet in their respective districts to carry out the work of assembly and decoration of the same.

The work begins on March 11, and all the monuments must be completed on the 16th for the assessment of the jury of falles. On the 17th March the prizes are awarded to children falles and big falles in a very exciting public event, which takes place in the Town Hall and Plaça de la Constitució.
